All new 2007 appliances!

All new appliances throughout both kitchens. Purchased in 2007, included new Refrigerator with icemaker, glasstop stoves in both kitchens, new wall-mount microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal units.

If our house is a new construction, or if we're in the middle of major renovation, we might put in a progress report describing what's happening week to week. If possible, we'll scan the floor plans and include them on this page.

Terminix Pest Control Contract

Since the first week of our ownership, we have contracted with Terminix, a proven pest control company to care for all possible pests and guarantee against damages. They conduct quarterly inspections of the home.

Home security alarm system

State-of-the-art home security system consist of a control panel connected to perimeter devices (door/window sensors and glass break detectors) also interior devices (passive infrared (PIR) motion detectors). You arm and disarm your system by a keypad. The System can be programmed to automatically activate at a preset time each day in case someone forgets to arm the System. There is a very loud siren that sounds when the alarm is tripped. This is your first line of defense, and often the siren will scare away the intruder. The system is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by the Honolulu Alarm Monitoring Center. When an intrusion alarm is received at the Monitoring Center they immediately dispatch the police.

Underground sprinkler system

An underground sprinkler system was installed in 2006 and is a convenient way to ensure the landscape stays green and beautiful. The system is broken down into three circuits (left, right and back of house). The automatic electronic controller turns each circuit on and off according to our programed schedule. The system consists of standard PVC pipe, weatherproof tubing and pop-up heads are designed to be flush with the ground.
