West Loch Estates

A sense of community...

West Loch Estates was built in 1990.  Within it's design, the Shoreline Park and West Loch Golf course was built.  With low association fees, maintenance and security patrols are conducted on its grounds.

West Loch Municipal Golf Course

This par-72, 6,615-yard course just 30 minutes from Waikiki, in Ewa Beach, offers golfers a challenge at bargain rates. The difficulties on this municipal course are water (lots of hazards), wind (constant trade winds), and narrow fairways. To help you out, the course features a "water" driving range (with a lake) to practice your drives. After a few practice swings on the driving range, you'll be ready to take on this unusual course, designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright. In addition to the driving range, West Loch has practice greens, a pro shop, and a restaurant.

R. M. Towill Corporation developed a comprehensive master plan for the City's 1,500-unit West Loch Estates and Fairways housing project. During the period July 1987 to January 1988, RMTC planners and engineers, with the assistance of specialist consultants, developed the Master Plan, an Environmental Impact Statement for the housing project, and a separate Environmental Impact Statement for the golf course and shoreline park. (Gold Nugget Award for Best Specialty Housing Project from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference and co-sponsor Sun/Coast Architect/Builder Magazine, 1991; Design Merit Award for Planning from the American Institute for Architects-Hawaii Society, 1989; Project of the Year from the City and County of Honolulu, 1988)
